Devout fashionistas know THE Pantone Color of the Year for 2014 is "Radiant Orchid."  Pantone describes it as:  "a captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health."  You

can read more about how they arrived at this color on the Pantone website.

This season Project Runway featured challenges designed around the Pantone color, which then of course, inspired us to to find a pair of Orchid Breeches!  These Yvonne, full seat breeches by HKM hit the mark and also come in a knee patch variety.  HKM calls this color "pink."  However, we found to be a perfect match for Radiant Orchid!  They  can be purchased in the US by contacting sales Rep Katja Minnosova at the Atlanta Horse connection.

Courtney paired the Orchid breeches  with our own Paul Brodie Boots, hand made in Canada. This boot comes in Charocal leather, with a Native American pattern Pendleton wool in an orchid, toffee, pale blue and navy palette. The boots are all made with limited edition, famed Pendelton Wool. They are waterproof and available with or without a a shaved shearling lining. The boots retail for $300.00 and can be purchased  by contacting us at stylemyride12@gmail.com. Only a limited number of boots are made from each fabric and then discontinued,  so contact us today if you would like to be one of the few to own a pair :)
