Nina K. Aasen

Nina has always had a huge interest in horses; maybe its due to the fact that she grew up on her family's stud farm in England. After a few years in England, Nina's family decided to move back to Norway, where her interest for horses grew even bigger. As a young girl, Nina was coached by her father, former Olympic rider Morten Aasen.

As a 14-year-old, Nina was picked to join the Norwegian show jumping team and has represented Norway at several international shows, championships and nations cups in the pony, junior and young rider divisions. After graduating high school in Norway, Nina moved back to England to the family farm, producing young horses. Nina is still being coached by her father but is also lucky enough to train with Pippa and William Funnell for The Billy Stud.

A new exciting chapter in Nina's life unfolded in Autumn 2012 when she began to study International Relations and Development at the University of Sussex.
