About Taylor Land

 

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Taylor is the talented daughter of famed US Grand Prix rider, Jay Land. She is well known for her accomplishments in the jumper ring, earning her place among a highly competitive field for a prestigious spot on multiple US Young Riders teams. A standout outside of the show ring as well, Taylor's notable academic accomplishments enabled her to begin her collegiate career at New York University in 2011 . Taylor's creative, fun and sometimes edgy sense of style was one of the inspirations for Style My Ride.

 

Equestrian Highlights

 

  • Team silver medalist at USEF Prix Des States Junior Jumper National Championship in 2007

  • 4th place Junior Team at the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships in 2008. 

  • Team and individual gold medalist at USEF Prix Des States in 2008. 

  • Individual gold medalist at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in 2009. 

  • 9th place individually at the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships, Young Rider division. 

  • Individual silver medalist at USEF Prix Des States in 2010. 

  • 1st place $25,000 Cherry Blossom Atlanta Grand Prix in 2010. 

  • 1st place Coril Holdings Mini-Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows in 2010. 

  • 2nd place $35,000 North Coast Grand Prix at the Gold Cup in 2010. 

  • 3rd place $25,000 Derby at the Hampton Classic in 2010. 

  • Winner of the prestigious 1.40m Final Four at Spruce Meadows 2011. 

  • Winner of the 1.30 Skyliner Tournament at Spruce Meadows, 2011.
